Paige Guthrie
President
This is Paige’s first year as PTA President. She previously served on the IDEA Committee and is excited to help build a strong, inclusive school community. She has a child in 5th grade.
Lori Ruiz
VP of Communications
Now in her third year on the PTA, Lori is excited to continue leading Communications. She has a daughter in 2nd grade and is committed to keeping LCTA families connected, informed, and engaged
Tiffiny Dixon
VP of Operations
In her second year on the PTA, Tiffiny brings strong organizational skills and efficiency to help keep our team running smoothly. She is dedicated to supporting our initiatives and ensuring everything stays on track.
Tiffiny is in her second year on the PTA board and is serving as our VP of Operations. She helps keep things running smoothly by supporting logistics and coordination. She has a son in 5th grade.
Jennifer Ring
Secretary
Now in her fourth year on the PTA, Jennifer brings experience and organization to her new role as Secretary. She previously served as VP of Operations and is always ready to keep things running smoothly. She has one LCTA alum and a daughter in 5th grade.
Sapna Patel Duchesne
VP of Community Spirit
Now in her second year on the PTA, Sapna brings creativity and positive energy to our team. She will be spearheading staff lunches and breakfasts, appreciation days, and various school socials and events. She has a son in 5th grade and a daughter in 1st grade.
Mike Detomo
Treasurer
Mike brings valuable experience and dedication to the PTA, keeping us on track with our budget and financial planning. He has two sons, one in 5th grade and one in 3rd. His attention to detail and financial skills are key to our success!
Casey Shaw
VP of Community Spirit
In her second year on the PTA, Casey brings fresh ideas and energy to school events and socials. She will also be spearheading staff lunches and breakfasts, appreciation days, and various school socials and events. She has a daughter in 1st grade and a son in 5th grade.
Elle Sawyer
VP of Fundraising
In her second year on the PTA, Tiffiny brings strong organizational skills and efficiency to help keep our team running smoothly. She is dedicated to supporting our initiatives and ensuring everything stays on track.
Elle is serving her first year on the PTA board as our VP of Fundraising. She brings creativity and a fresh perspective to the role, always looking for new ways to support our school. Elle is excited to be part of the team and has a daughter in 5th grade at LCTA.

LCTA PTA Position Types

There are three different ways to get involved as a LCTA PTA Leader!
Executive Committee - These roles are elected by our General Membership. They have governing and legal responsibilities to carry out the business of our PTA. Elections were held at the end of the last school year and the positions here have been filled for 2025-2026. If you're interested in learning more about the executive committee for next year, please reach out! We typically start recruiting in March, and we'd love to share more details with you!
Committee Chair/Co-Chair - These roles provide leadership for specific events or projects organized by the PTA. Chairs/Co-Chairs are appointed by the Officers of the Executive Committee. They are not voted on by our General Membership. Chairs/Co-Chairs are expected to attend monthly Executive Board Meetings. We still have a few Chair positions open, as noted above, and we would love to have you on the team!
Committee Member - These roles provide support for events or projects organized by the PTA. Committee Members are usually most active in the 1-2 months leading into the project or event they support. They are invited but not required to attend monthly Executive Board Meetings. We always welcome committee members year-round, and we would love to have you on the team! Regardless of how much time you are able to devote, please reach out if you're interested in learning more! We would love to welcome you to the team!
