5th Grade Promotion Week!

The teachers, class liaisons, and PTA are working hard to plan meaningful and festive
ways to celebrate our 5th Graders as they wrap up their elementary school chapter at
LCTA. We hope the final week of school sends them off with fond memories,
cherished friendships, high spirits & high hopes for what is ahead.

Sneaker Ball

12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

LCTA Multi-Purpose Room

  • DJ DANCE PARTY with kid appropriate music, games, and refreshments!

  • Attire: dress-up (or non-uniform! dresses should be school appropriate length, no spaghetti straps/haltertop/crop top) paired with sneakers

  • Parents/guardians are invited (no siblings, please)

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

  • SONG REQUESTS

5th Grade Promotion Ceremony
early dismissal

9:00-10:00 AM
LCTA Multi-Purpose Room

  • Students wear their uniforms with the provided LCTA shirt.  Shirts will be sent home with students (PTA sponsored!).  SIZES NEEDED! (deadline: Friday May 10th)

  • Students arrive at school at the normal time (teachers bring them to the ceremony).

  • There will be cake in the cafeteria immediately following the ceremony for families. Students are then free to go home with their families.

  • PHOTOS NEEDED! Please email one baby photo and any school photos through the years K-5 for incorporation into the slideshow. (deadline: Monday May 20th)

  • RSVP Required

  • This is NOT a school or PTA sponsored activity

  • Every student must have a designated chaperone (it is acceptable for one chaperone to take responsibility for a group of students, but parents must pre-arrange this amongst themselves)

OTHER:

  • YEARBOOK: Please remember to ORDER your 5th grader a yearbook, as this is a particularly special memento for 5th graders (deadline to order in advance: April 14th)

  • GIFTS: Individual classroom parents are organizing gifts for teachers and staff
