ACPS School Board Update

An overview of our extended plan to ensure continuity of learning beyond April 13 and throughout the remainder of the academic year was discussed at the virtual School Board meeting on Friday, March 27. This included a discussion about how we intend to continue to support our Students With Disabilities going forward. You can tune in to School Board meetings each Friday at noon via the video link on the School Board meeting web page. An outline of our continuity of learning plan for beyond April 13 will be shared with the community on April 3, 2020.

Animal Benefit

Missing this Springs production of The Aristocats is heartbreaking for our teachers (Ms. Seto and Ms. Fontaine) and students who spent the time auditioning and practicing.  However, we can look forward to the production happening next Spring!  And we are so grateful to all that made generous donations to this years Animal Benefit.  We raised $1,880, half of which will go to The Animal Welfare League and the other half to King Street Cats.

I have had numerous questions on what will happen to the yearbook. The yearbook has been in production since the beginning of the year and will still happen.  Further details will be announced in the upcoming weeks.  We are continuing to accept orders.  ORDER NOW for $30.

(Staff members, please email me, in order to reserve your yearbook, there is no online payment option for the 20$ price)

International Night

We are very sad not to see our annual International Night come to fruition this year, most especially those on the planning team, our represented families/Countries and our partners- the Literacy team. To all of those represented groups and all our faithful attendees-Thank you for supporting this special night and we will be back! We are reminded as we battle this global pandemic how connected our world really is! Thank you Dr. Zissios and all of the staff for their support during this time.
