Back to School Family Picnic on 9/8 Join us for our fun back to school party this Friday 9/8 from 5 - 8 pm at the LCTA playground! This yearly tradition is always a fun time you don't want to miss out on! Bring your own picnic-style food and drinks (and picnic blankets/chairs, if you would like). Mr. Softee ice cream truck arrives at 6 pm! Check out the menu here: The Uniform Locker will be open from 5:30-7:30 pm, and LCTA merchandise + snacks/water will be available for sale. Enjoy music + fun times with great friends new and old! Flyer above with more details. Uniform Locker: Open on 9/8 + Volunteers Requested Our school is a uniform school. As such, to help support our families, the PTA runs a Uniform Locker, which is stocked with gently used items for your family to shop free of charge. The Uniform Locker will be open on September 9th from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm (during our Back to School Picnic)! All are welcome! The Uniform Locker is located by the side entrance of the school, near the school parking lot. Donations are accepted year-round to the front office or at the Locker itself whenever it is open. If there is a need to access the Locker outside of the times it is open, please contact our social worker, Ms. Kelly Robinson, at Volunteers Requested: We have more Uniform Locker dates planned, and would love to have your help in operating some dates and times to have the Locker open for our community. If you're able to commit to helping, we'd love to have your involvement! You can learn more here.

Back to School Night on 9/14 Please join us for Back to School Night to meet your child's teacher and learn more about core knowledge, your child's classroom, and our school! A preview catalog of bestsellers that will be available at the Fair will be sent home this week, along with information on how to set up an e-wallet for your student that can be used during the Fair to make purchases. The Fair will be open to students only during the school day, and they will be able to make purchases with cash and e-wallets. September Cafeteria Menu While the kitchen/cafeteria renovation project is ongoing, our amazing Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Laura Purdy, has created a menu for our students that is modified from the regular ACPS menu due to our different space availability during the renovation projection.
