CHROMEBOOKS
If your student has an ACPS chromebook that is not in working condition, please submit a chromebook help request. By filling out this request, you will be able to exchange it for a working Chromebook. Appointments are being scheduled at the Student Helpdesk at TC Williams Highschool. These appointments have already begun (as of Monday August 17), so please attend to this ASAP. Students should not have more than one device assigned to them. If you received a replacement Chromebook between March and August, please return the non-functional device to the Student Helpdesk at TC Williams by Door 6/7 in the patio area facing King Street. The Helpdesk is operating from 8am - 4pm. If you do not require a replacement device, you can drop off a non-functioning Chromebook without submitting a request or scheduling an appointment.
Please help us collect these Chromebooks so they may be repaired and reappropriated to students who need them!
August 31st 8:00-3:00 is the time allotted for LCTA families, K-3 and new families, to pick up the student technology devices for this year at GW MS. K-1 will receive tablets; grades 2-3, and NEW 4th & 5th grade students will receive Chromebooks (all other 4th and 5th grade students should already have Chromebooks at home). If a Chromebook was returned in error at the end of the school year, you can pick up one at the GW...under student name. If your Chromebook is broken, you need to fill out the online form regarding broken devices. You will not be able to pick up a replacement at the site.
SPROUT SCHOOL SUPPLIES DISTRIBUTION

This past Tuesday, we distributed a good amount of the Sprout school supplies boxes - many thanks to those who came to pick them up (it was nice to see your faces in person!).
We will have a second distribution on Tuesday September 1 from 10am - 12 pm. If you ordered supplies through Sprout, please come curbside to the school for pick-up.
Virtual Learning School Supply List (3rd grade - add dry erase markers/dry erase board)
2019-20 YEARBOOKS
Never fear! They will soon be here! (End of September.) We will do a similar distribution as we are doing with Sprout (curbside pickup at the school). For families who have moved from the area, the books will be mailed. The final deadline to order is Friday, September 4.
Alexandria Walk the Block
Tuesday September 8 is “Alexandria Walk the Block” sponsored by Safe Routes to School, Alexandria Moves, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, Running Brooke, and Alexandria City Parks & Rec. The idea is for students and families to get outside to "walk the block" around their neighborhood before logging on to Virtual Plus+ the first day of school. This will encourage the healthy habit of getting out for a walk on school days! Please Join us!
